My Thesis film from Bezalel - A live-action // stop-motion hybrid.
The Golem, a mythical creature created to protect the Jewish people, finds himself awakened from a decades-long slumber with a new task - to "make peace" in Jerusalem of our times. The Golem, a simple, innocent being, tries his best to do exactly that - but not neccesarily in a ways the political Israeli sphere intended or appreciates.
The film was made by me, Maayan Baidats and Hodaya Gordon. I was the director, screenwriter, main animator and VFX compositor of the film.
